Today, we ask why do Americans hate roundabouts so much? Probably because they saw the Magic Roundabout and ran away scared. Roundabouts are known to (generally) be safer than many other types of junction. So why doesn’t America have more of them? Turns out, this is more an accident of history as opposed to being by design.
